Watch: Melanie Griffith wows fans with lingerie photos for breast cancer awareness month
Melanie Griffith has posed for snapshots in her underwear to promote breast cancer awareness month from the comfort of her bathroom.
Rocking a rose coloured bra and high-waisted knickers, the 63-year-old actor posed on the edge of a bathtub as she crossed her legs in front of her, with a towel wrapped around her hair.
In the accompanying caption on Instagram, the Working Girl star explained that she was sharing the images in an effort to raise money for the Women’s Cancer Research Fund, writing: “I’m joing in @kitundergarments in pink in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness month.”
Griffith went on to explain that lingerie brand Kit Undergarments has partnered with Women’s Cancer Research Fund and will be donating a percentage of its sales to the charity throughout October.
“And btw they are super sexy and oh so comfy,” she added.
Griffith herself is a cancer survivor having undergone surgery to treat basal cell carcinoma in 2009.
She had another skin cancer scare in 2018 undertaking another procedure to treat it.

The images also drew comments from fans keen to thank the star for helping to raise awareness about such an important cause, while others praised Griffith for her ageless look.
“I love that you are ageing so gracefully. My son fell in love with you as a little guy (Milk Money) and we’ve been fans ever since! We love you,” one commenter wrote.
“You look great and that is amazing,” agreed another.
“Pretty oh so pretty,” another fan added.
Griffith has been joined by some other famous faces who have posted pictures in the label’s pink lingerie to raise awareness and funds, including Kate Hudson, January Jones, and Zoe Saldana.

This isn’t the first time Griffith has showed off her incredible figure on social media.
Last year she looked fabulous rocking a plunging black bikini while on holiday in Spain sharing snapshots from the trip showing her posing on a boat.
The photos have many fans amazed by her youthful appearance, with one follower proclaiming, “60 is the new 40!”
