You’ll never look at air travel the same way after flying JSX (formerly Jet Suite X).
When it comes to air travel, many of us dream of the luxury and convenience of flying private but balk at the hefty price tag. Enter JSX (JetSuiteX), a semi-private jet service that bridges the gap between commercial and private air travel, offering an elevated experience without breaking the bank. Read our comprehensive JSX review to find out why this airline is a game changer.

Streamlined Check-In Process.
One of the standout benefits of flying JSX is the ease of the check-in process. You get to skip the crowded terminals and long security lines typically associated with commercial airports, taking hours off the time you need to arrive at the airport in advance. Instead, your taxi can pull right up to the door to the JSX hangar lounge, where you can head straight to check in (just arrive half an hour before you fly…well, technically 20 minutes, but that might be cutting it a bit fine) and then relax in the lounge before boarding. This streamlined process is far less stressful and far more efficient than your typical check-in.
Quick Boarding and Deplaning.
JSX’s boarding process is remarkably efficient. You can board the plane directly from the hangar lounge, eliminating the need for long walks through sprawling airport terminals. Upon landing, the deplaning process is just as swift. On our last two JSX flights, we were in an Uber in 8 minutes and 11 minutes, respectively, from landing. This convenience is a game-changer, especially for business travellers, anyone on a tight schedule, or just those who want to get from plane to holiday mode as quickly as possible (us).
Complimentary Snacks and Drinks.
Onboard a JSX flight, you’ll be offered complimentary snacks and beverages, including alcoholic drinks. They’ve got cocktails in a can, wine (far superior to the undrinkable garbage served in Delta First), beer, Prosecco and more, plus sweet and savoury snacks (make a beeline for the sweet potato corn chips, they’re amazing).
Staying Entertained and Productive in the Sky.
Who needs built in in-flight-entertainment systems when you have Starlink Wi-Fi connectivity from boarding to landing? We’re very happy watching our own content on our own device, and love that we can work and stay connected so easily with fast, reliable internet on JSX. Game changer. We haven’t seen any USB ports on board thus far, which is a little disappointing, but given the short duration of most flights, not that big of a deal. They do have a US plug socket at each seat, however, so if you plan well, you can still power up on board.
Personable Service.
From the moment you step into the JSX hangar lounge, you’re greeted with a level of service that feels personal and attentive yet oh so relaxed and friendly. Unlike traditional airports where you’re battling a throng of passengers and a maze of check in and security queues, JSX are dedicated to making your journey as smooth and enjoyable as possible. The on board service is equally friendly (or perhaps, even friendlier) with flight attendants setting the tone with their unsually happy, jovial and generous demeanour. Clearly JSX is a great employer given the positive attitudes we always witness on board when we fly!
Generous Baggage Allowance.
JSX offers a generous baggage allowance, allowing you to bring two checked bags weighing up to 25kg each. This is a significant advantage over many commercial airlines, which often charge hefty fees for additional luggage, and we find tickets with a large baggage allowance are often very thin on the ground when it comes to USA domestic travel. Given that we are usually flying from Dubai with a 40kg-50kg allowance, downsizing to 18kg just doesn’t work for us (25kg is hard enough!). If you’re travelling with your cat or dog, they’re welcome on board too!
A Unique Value Proposition.
One of the most appealing aspects of JSX is the value it affords as a package. With ticket prices starting at around $200, flying JSX is comparable to the cost of a Delta First Class ticket (which we absolutely do not recommend, from first hand experience). So yes, this is not Spirit or Southwest – it’s not ‘cheap’ – but we think their pricing offers serious value when you take into account the extra baggage and the hours saved that you can instead spend enjoying your holiday. This makes it an accessible option for those looking to enjoy the perks of private jet travel without the exorbitant cost.
Ideal for Major USA Destinations.
JSX operates between several major US destinations, including Los Angeles, San Francisco, and Las Vegas. This makes it an ideal choice for frequent travelers between these cities, offering a seamless and luxurious alternative to traditional air travel. We love using JSX for our frequent Vegas adventures!
Pre-Flight Lounges.
Honestly, this is the are where we think JSX could really step up its game. Their hangar ‘lounges’ are a little ‘no frills’ for our taste and provide only the bare minimum – seating, water, tea and coffee and power for charging your devices (USB and US sockets). We’d love to see some improved food and beverage offerings here, though if you’re flying with your furry friends, they do often have cat and dog treats available (and JSX bandanas)!
Our JSX Review Verdict.
Flying JSX provides a unique blend of luxury, convenience, and affordability that is hard to match. With personable service, complimentary snacks and drinks, free WiFi, generous baggage allowance, and a streamlined check-in process, JSX offers all the advantages of flying private without the private jet price tag. Whether you’re a business traveler or a leisure flyer, JSX transforms the way you experience air travel, making each journey as enjoyable and efficient as possible. We pick JSX without exception when flying to their destinations in the USA.
